RE: Great time at Banjo Creek

20 nights for 20 dollars?? Now thats a GREAT deal. Thats better than owning a membership. No wonder we need money for maintenance. I wonder how an old member could get this deal?? And YES, Zooland..I mean Banjo Creek, can be a great place to camp and meet friendly people when they are not upset at what is happening there. We also enjoy going to Banjo Creek to camp.

RE: Great time at Banjo Creek

Am glad to hear that u had a nice breakfast. Sure wish we could say the same thing about the cook-out on Friday night. We always enjoy going to BC, but after talking to alot of upset members there this past week, I have to agree with Gary on this one. What this CG needs is much better communication between the members and the owners.
I dont think any members (old or new) would mind paying some dues if the ownership would just be truthful to all of us with better communication. JM2CW :)

RE: Banjo Creek dues

Ok ok, I have been out in the pasture, but I think it is time to get in the barn. I too was at the meeting when Mike told everyone that, "NOTHING" will EVER change with previous memberships or dues."
I know times have changed, but when i was growing up, my Dad always told me that "a man is only as good as his word". I have always tried to live by this, and I will always feel that "a person's word" is very important. How can u trust anyone that says one thing and does another?
My family has always enjoyed Zooland which is now Banjo Creek and we hope to enjoy it for many years to come. We have volunteered many hours on "clean up days" and other projects, and will continue to do so as long as we are treated fairly, but this is one time that our family feels like that we, as well as other loyal Zooland and BC members are getting the shaft :(.
Oh yeah, all of the above is JMHO (just my honest opinion)---for whatever that is worth. ;) and now my wife is wondering if old older members will be treated like "red-headed step children.

RE: Zoo Land resort NC sold out

2.5 million dollar water park huh?? Yep, have heard that before, and nope, have seen nothing. As a member of Banjo Creek, and if u do buy in, plzzzzz buy in for what it is NOW and NOT for what they told u it MIGHT be.
